EITCH BORROMINI PALAZZO PAMPHILJ, Rome – A Smart Stay in the City
About the Hotel
Historic Palace Rooms
Eitch Borromini Palazzo Pamphilj offers 18 rooms in a 17th-century palace designed by Francesco Borromini. Each room includes an electric kettle with coffee and tea, a stocked minibar, Etro bath products, and complimentary water. Some suites feature marble bathrooms with bronze details and direct views of Piazza Navona. Rooms vary in layout due to the building's historic constraints, with original frescoes and wooden beams in select suites.
Dining with Views
Terrazza Borromini, on the fourth floor, serves Mediterranean cuisine with dishes like pasta with swordfish and Roman classics such as cacio e pepe. The restaurant overlooks Piazza Navona and Bernini's Fountain of the Four Rivers. Breakfast includes a buffet with eggs, bacon, pastries, and fresh fruit. The rooftop bar, La Grande Bellezza, offers cocktails with panoramic views of St. Peter's Basilica and the Pantheon.
Art and Rooftop
The hotel features a fourth-floor art gallery with rotating contemporary exhibitions. The rooftop terrace provides 360-degree views of Rome, including landmarks like the Pantheon and St. Peter's Basilica. Guests can relax in the courtyard beneath the church dome or enjoy aperitifs with the sound of Santa Agnese's bells.
Central Rome Location
The hotel is in Navona, near Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain (1.5 km), and the Spanish Steps (1.5 km). Public transport includes Bus #64 from Termini Station (6 km). Fiumicino Airport is 45 minutes by car (36 km), with fixed-rate taxis available. The area is known for its historic sites, restaurants, and lively square atmosphere.

Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel is superbly located right on the Piazza Navona, at the heart of all the action. The rooms are exceptionally clean, comfortable, and spacious, with a well-appointed bathroom featuring luxurious Etro toiletries. The service from the staff was truly outstanding and made my stay in Rome unforgettable. However, the dining options were a bit limited and could be improved with a more varied selection. Overall, a fantastic choice for a memorable stay in Rome.
My stay at the hotel was an absolute delight. The rooms were spacious and beautifully appointed, offering a spectacular terrace view of the piazza. However, some soundproofing could have improved the overall experience. The central location was a major plus, making it easy to explore the surrounding attractions. The staff at La Scaletta Trattoria were incredibly helpful and friendly, although there were minor language barriers. The dining experience was pleasant, although more variety would have been appreciated. Overall, a great value for the money.
Staying at the hotel was an incredible experience. The rooms offered stunning views overlooking Piazza Navona and the Fountain of the Four Rivers, and the terrace below the St Agnes dome was a unique touch. However, some mornings were disrupted by noise from the dining room above. The rooms were spacious with high ceilings, but the absence of hot food for breakfast was a downside.
My stay at the hotel exceeded all expectations! The rooms were located under the restaurant on the fourth floor and offered breathtaking views of Piazza Navona and the Four Rivers fountain. They were incredibly comfortable, clean, and decorated in a beautiful baroque style. The breakfast on the spectacular terrace was lavish, and the location was perfect for exploring all the nearby attractions. The staff was extremely professional, friendly, and always ready to assist.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the positive side, the rooms were exceptional, spacious, and provided stunning views of Piazza Navona, exceeding my expectations. However, the early morning noise from the dining room directly above was quite bothersome. The service was outstanding, with a helpful and friendly staff who went above and beyond to assist us. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of the city with easy access to major attractions. The dining experience was lovely, offering a traditional Italian breakfast with a beautiful view of Piazza Navona. The facilities were great, but the noise from the upper floors did somewhat diminish my overall enjoyment.
The hotel had a lovely suite with a touch of old Roman estate vibes, but the nights were disrupted by noise from nearby activities. The rooms felt a bit cold for my liking, but the size of the suite was spacious and charming.
